BRIGHT RACING SHOCKS suspension fork F929 Next 150 mm 29" 15x110 mm BOOST

The evolution in terms of performance and quality.

With the F929 Next, the Italians offer an enduro up-side-down suspension fork, which should set new standards in terms of traction and response. Bright's unique suspension concept, which does not require the usual 20-25% sag, creates direct handling and gives you optimal control on any surface. Thanks to the low unsprung mass, the fork reacts quickly to even the smallest bumps. The optimally coordinated final progression of the air spring reliably prevents bottoming out during drops and jumps, so that you can get safely from the mountain to the valley.

The fork is the result of a long development phase. Countless computer simulations, prototypes and test drives were necessary in order to finally be able to offer a product that need fear no comparison. Thanks to the upside-down design, the fork saves a lot of unsprung mass, which ultimately benefits sensitive response and perfect traction. In order not to have to accept any disadvantages in terms of rigidity, the slider tubes are very thick at 35 mm, lapped with high precision and guided by specially arranged sliding bushes. In connection with the dropouts, which are suitable for the use of torque caps with a diameter of 31 mm, all this ensures optimum lateral rigidity and steering precision of the fork. This construction, which is unusual for an MTB fork, is more expensive and complex to produce, but will put a smile on your face with every ride. In fact, the type of construction is more in line with a motorcycle fork than an MTB fork.

The carbon standpipes also contribute to the rigidity without unnecessarily burdening the scales. A filigree CNC-milled crown made of 7075-T651 aluminum is used at the upper end of the fork. A massive block of raw material is transformed into a work of art weighing just a few hundred grams on modern CNC machines.
The individual parts are assembled with a lot of manual work. The close quality control ensures that you always get a perfectly functioning fork for your bike.

SAY ZERO
SAG ZERO describes the use of a significantly reduced, static negative spring travel. Instead of the usual 20-25% of the spring deflection, the Bright F929 Next only uses approx. 10-15mm as sag. Thus, the height of the 150 mm fork in the riding position corresponds to a 170 mm fork of conventional design.

ACAD 6
ACAD is a highly efficient cartridge that offers you an excellent function. The responsive cushioning is specifically designed to manage the anti-cavitation effect, one of the biggest limitations of modern cushioning. This specially designed solution guarantees quick reactivity under high loads and cushioning that always works perfectly.

CHPC
30 years of experience in the field of chassis technology are noticeable in the CHPC air spring. First and foremost, it must have a very high progression at the end of the suspension travel and be responsive. If you ride at the limit, your fork has to make the best possible use of the available travel. The air spring was designed and developed with precisely this goal in mind. Another special feature of the air spring is the fact that it is run with very little sag.

FLOATING BUSHINGS
The special construction with floating slide bushes has an enormous influence on the system rigidity. The deeper the fork deflects, the greater the distance between the bushings and thus the stiffness.

AMA Design (Advanced Mechanical Architecture)
The special construction allows maximum rigidity and guarantees perfect function.

LAGS technology
A special arrangement of the bushings, which has been tried and tested in motocross for years and, in conjunction with the milled fork crown and the carbon stanchions, creates an extremely high torsional rigidity of the fork. In addition, the LAGS system also guarantees smooth spring behavior with lateral loads, such as those that occur when driving over rocks or roots.

NOTE: The fork is intended for use in frames that require a conventional 170 mm at the front. Due to the low SAG, it is significantly higher in the riding position than a normal 150 mm fork in the travel.
